  Obituary: The death of Donald Ralph Elkins of Gordonsville occurred on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the River View Manor, Bath. Born May 18, 1942 in Gordonsville he was the son of Dora (Schriver) Elkins and the late Samuel Elkins. He was also predeceased by 1 brother, Hugh John Elkins and 1 brother in law, Allan Bushby. Don is survived by his mother, Dora; 2 sisters, Brenda Elkins and Cindy Bushby; 1 brother, Brent Elkins (Valerie); sister in law Ruth Elkins; nieces and nephews, Sam Elkins, Conway Elkins (Stephanie), Amy Dunham, Sara Bushby (Joel), Stephen Elkins, Andrea Toner (Bill) and Jennifer Elkins (Robert); great nieces and nephews, Aspen, Nicholas, Abigail, Mary, Sarah, Marissa, Brysen and Samantha. Visitation will be held L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 3-5 pm. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 pm. Pastor Vaughn Palin will officiate. Interment will be in the Gordonsville Community Cemetery at a later date.
