    • Obituary:

It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend after a courageous 23 month battle with cancer. Robert Douglas (Bob) Anderson was born December 15, 1948, son of the late R. Wiley Anderson and M. Elizabeth (Cox, Anderson) Reeleder. Bob was predeceased by his parents, stepfather, Ronald Reeleder, sister, Louise Page and her husband Raymond, brother-in-law Richard Trafford, and nephews Gregory Trafford and Peter Kelly.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 46 years, Shirley (Kelly) Anderson, his daughters, Nicole (Nick) Munro, Natalie (Chris) Stacey, and his grandchildren Anderson and Seth Munro and Claire Stacey. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Diane Trafford, nieces and nephews, Linda (Brian) Kilpatrick, Cynthia Hines, Granville (Carrie) Page, Janice Page, Rayma (Dan Petrie)Veniot and Steven (Janice) Trafford and their families. Also saddened by the loss are brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne (Sharon) Kelly, Walter (Cheryl) Kelly, Sheila (Gladwyn) Piper and Judy (Ken) Bertin and their families.

Bob's most favorite place to be was at the cottage on North Lake. Whether it be in a boat, on his four wheeler, or in his truck cruising the woods for an "elusive forest chicken". Spending time there with his family around him was what he wanted to be doing. Chores around the yard were the best for him when his grandchildren were at his side, and driving the boat or four wheeler were the most enjoyable with a grandchild on his lap.

Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday June 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mary Taylor officiating. A private family interment will follow in St Paul's United Church Cemetery in Centreville. Donations may be made the Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group or St Paul's United Church Cemetery. www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.ca 506 392-1115
