Notes Obituary:It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Donald Ralph McBride on January 24, 2020 at the Kepnes Veterans Centre, Edmonton, Alberta.Donald was born in Woodstock, NB on March 29, 1930 to the late Ralph and Josie (Harris) McBride.He is survived by his children, Donald McBride (Verna), Richard McBride, Tracy McBride (Thomas Linder), and Drew McBride (Judy)Granddaughter, Sarah; Great-grandsons, Samuel and Levi.His brothers, Allison, Earl, Ronald, Gary, Terry and several nieces and nephews.Also by his longtime friend, Emily Eldred.Don loved the outdoors and was proud of his military service. He was an amazing father who taught his children much and will be deeply missed.Special thanks to his brother Ronnie and wife Colleen for all their help through this trying time.Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother Richar, Albert, Herbert, David, Clinton and Arnold McBride.A Memorial service is to be held on August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am from Christ Church Anglican Church, Lower Woodstock, with interment to follow at the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, with The Rev.
