  Obituary: Ernie Davenport 1953-2017 The death of Ernest "Ernie" Joseph Davenport of Holmesville occurred on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born September 20, 1953 in Holmesville he was the son of the late Clifton and Myrtle (Ruff) Davenport. He was also predeceased by 1 grandchild, Ryan Corey. Ernie is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; 3 children, Shauna Smith (Robert), Jason Davenport (Melissa Corey) and Billy Joe Davenport; 8 grandchildren, Braydon, Bryson, Brennan, Morgan, Jason Jr., Hailey, Hannah and Harper; 9 siblings, Brian Davenport (Linda), Mahlon Davenport (Karen), Terry Davenport (Pauline), Ricky Davenport (Joan), Darlene Patterson (Darrell), Mac Davenport (Darla), Neisha Davenport, Susan Giberson (Peter) and Kim Evans as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 11:00 - 1:30 pm from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville- Bristol. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Rev. Toben Steeves will officiate. Interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery at a later date.
