    • Obituary:

      The death of Alice Jean Davenport originally of Stickney occurred on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Carleton Place, Hartland. Alice was born February 17, 1946 in East Coldstream, New Brunswick and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Eva (Wasson) Greer. She is predeceased by her three sisters; Elva MacKenzie, June Greer and Ruth Clark.

      Alice is survived by her husband, Dale, two nieces: Nilah Lewis (Geoff) and Audrey Wortman (Vernon), three nephews; Dwayne Clark, Aubrey Clark (Crystal) and Michael Clark (Sherri) as well as several great nieces and nephews and their families.

      Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 … 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Nathan Smith will officiate. The interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Hunter Cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

      Alice’s family would like to thank for the wonderful care given by Carleton Place as well as the additional support provided by Bayshore and Kindred Home Care. Alice had wonderful caregivers.
