    • Obituary:

      Bangor - John A. Yerxa, 81 of 598 Ohio St.,
      Died unexpectedly March 7, 1981 at a local
      Hospital. He was born in Woodstock, N.B.,
      Jan 15, 1900, son of Charles and Ida (Rogers)
      Yerxa. He was a retired civil service engineer
      at Dow Air Force Base. He was a member of
      the Columbia Street Baptist Church and the
      Danforth Class of the Church, a 50 year
      Member of the Penobscot Oriental Lodge
      I.O.O.F. No 7 Bangor and a member of the
      N.O.B.A. club. He is survived by his wife
      Pauline (Campbell) Yerxa of Bangor; two
      Stepsons, Moses L. Garland of Bangor, Reverend
      David R. Garland of Hampton, N.H.;
      four step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren
      two brothers, Harold Yerxa of Woodstock, N.B.
      Ray Yerxa of Bridgewater; one sister Mrs. Ida Foster
      Of Monticello, several nieces and nephews. Funeral
      Services will be held 10 am Tuesday at Brookings-Smith
      133 Center St., with Reverend Kenneth Partridge
      Officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home
      2-4 and 7-9 pm.
