    • Obituary:
Michael Prosser of Good Corner passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Mike was born in Woodstock on November 30, 1950 and was the son of the late Weldon Dow and Violet May (Lewis) Prosser. He was also predeceased by 1 brother, Weldon David Prosser.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Amy; 3 sons, Trevor Prosser (Julie), Allan Prosser (Leah) and Dana Prosser (Lee); his cherished granddaughter, Brooklyne Prosser; 2 sisters, Linda Cote and Leona Graham (Neil); 1 brother Charles Prosser (Lori); 4 sisters in law, Marilyn Prosser, Lila (Leslie) McMaster, Ida Craig and Joan Emery as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mike was an avid moose hunter and guide. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Mike fought a long hard battle the last 4 years. He had strong will power to handle the pain. With failing health, he couldn’t enjoy life doing the things he use to do. Many thanks to his close friends who stood by him when he was down and out.
A special thank you to the Extra Mural staff, without your help life would have been unbearable.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1-3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm from the chapel. Rev. Matthew Trites will officiate. The interment will be held at a later date in the Charleston Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Charleston Cemetery would be appreciated.
