Notes - Obituary:
It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Allison Lee Clark on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 89 years. Born December 15, 1929 in Lansdowne, NB he was the son of the late Lee and Maude (Hemphill) Clark. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Ruth, his son Darrell, and brothers Earl and Fred.
Allison is survived by his children Darlene (Edwin) Birt, Eric (Bonnie) Clark, Audrey (Vernon) Wortman, Dwayne Clark, Aubrey (Crystal) Clark and Michael (Sherri) Clark. Grandfather of Tim Birt, Trish (Randy) Burrows, Chrissy Clark, Dustin Clark, Chance (Nicole) Clark, Kyle (Britny) Wortman, Neisha Wortman, Grace Clark and Austin Clark. Great-grandfather of Wesley, Taylor, Caitlin, Campbell, Brecken, Gabriel, Madison, Alivia, Brooklyn, Madelyn, Liam and Allison. He is also survived by his sister Fern Bell, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A special appreciation to Shaw’s Special Care Home and the Upper River Valley Hospital Staff for their loving care of Dad during the past few months.
Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Home on Friday, November 15 from 5-9 pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16 at L.R. Giberson funeral home at 2 pm with Rev Oral McAffee officiating. Interment will follow at the Lansdowne Cemetery.Donations made to the Lansdowne Cemetery would be appreciated.
