  Obituary: Opal Alice Derrah of Gordonsville passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born January 9, 1930 and was the daughter of the late George and Ethel MacDougall. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Otis Derrah; sister, Jennie Nason; brothers Donald, Ambrose and Lucius. Opal is survived by her children, Joan (Daryl) Hunter of Keswick Ridge, Otis Jr. (Marsha) Derrah , of Dothan, Alabama, Elizabeth (John) MacGougan of Quispamsis, Janice (Peter) Woodworth of Fredericton, Dale (Debbie) Derrah of Beechwood, David (Sandy) Derrah of Gordonsville, Tammy (Jeff) Doherty of Saint John; 11 grandchildren, Lori (Dave) Savage, Andrea DiCaire, Michelle (Scott) McInnis, Rebecca (Jimmy) Nelson, Jennifer (Steven) Orr, Nicholas (Kodi) MacGougan, Kyle (Megan) Woodworth, Megan Woodworth, Troy Derrah, Macey Ruff, Lindsay Doherty; 13 great grandchildren, Darian Savage, Makayla Savage, Hunter DiCaire, Kenzie DiCaire, Calvin McInnis, Derrah Lynn McInnis, Ashantae Nelson, Sarah Orr, Sydney Orr, Emily Orr, Myles MacGougan, Alec MacGougan, Hudson Ruff; sister Hazel Brooks of Centreville; several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Sunday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland with Pastor Craig Woodcock officiating.
