  Obituary: Marie Iva Hathaway of Somerville passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the River View Manor in Bath. She was born February 7, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Eva Post. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Eugene Buckingham and Perley Hathaway; son, Dale Buckingham; siblings, John (Laura) Post, Helen (Barry) Crain, Douglas Post, Edward (Rita) Post, Phyllis (Cecil) Doherty, Violet Post; half siblings, Ruby (Elwood) Chase, Doris, (Frank) Britton, Charles Post. Marie is survived by her children, Joyce Buckingham of Somerville, Gerald (Marg) Buckingham of Fredericton; grandchildren, Andrew (Kristy-Ann) Buckingham, John (Amanda) Buckingham, Kerri-Leigh Buckingham, Benjamin Buckingham; great grandchildren, Naomi, Anna, Aaron, Jessica, Micah and Macy Buckingham; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Tuesday, April 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at the Britton Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Walton officiating.
