  Obituary: Leona Alberta Foster of East Coldstream passed away on Monday, July, 18, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born in 1936 and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Helen Foster. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Leota Broad, Hebert Foster, Lawrence Foster; brothers-in-law, David Johnston, Jack MacKenzie; and sister-in-law, Maxine Foster. Leona is survived by her siblings, Charles (Linda) Foster of Lansdowne, Fred (Carmel) Foster of Bristol, Vernon (Edith) Foster of Lansdowne, Mable Foster of East Coldstream, Lois (Larry) Tompkins of Rockland, Calvin Foster of East Coldstream, Linda (Dwayne) Johnston of Lansdowne, Elizabeth Johnston of Lansdowne, Edison (Marilyn) Foster of Lansdowne, Elzie Foster of Calgary, Flora (Gordon) Haywood of Somerville, Ethel MacKenzie of Lakeville; brother-in-law, James Broad of East Coldstream; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Wednesday, July 20th from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland, with Rev John McMullin and Pastor Landi Piper officiating.
