  Obituary: The death of Leota Marie Broad of East Coldstream occurred on Friday, October 3, 2014 at her home. Born July 15, 1940 in Gordonsville she was the daughter of the late Jess and Helen (Adams) Foster. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Hebert and Lawrence. Leota is survived by her loving husband, James; 3 sons, Leonard (Susan), Lewis (Penny) and Owen (Marilyn); 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Melvin, Ashley, Kevin, Brandon and Dylan; several great grandchildren; 10 siblings, Charles Foster (Linda), Fred Foster (Carmel), Vernon Foster (Edith), Calvin Foster, Edison Foster (Marilyn), Leona Foster, Mabel Foster, Linda Johnston (Dwayne), Lois Tompkins (Larry) and Elizabeth Johnston as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 2-5 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kent MacKay will officiate.
