  Obituary: Weldon "Duke" Trecartin of Coldstream passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland. He was born October 12, 1926 and was the son of the late Ransford and Sue Trecartin. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, June (Bill) Haslett, Shirley (Gordon Hill) Craig, Eileen (George) Picard; brothers, Gilbert, Kenneth and Edward (Laura) Trecartin; brother-in-law, James Barrett. Duke is survived by his wife, Glenna Trecartin of Coldstream; Children, Linda (Ted) Pratt of Fredericton, Sheldon (Yvonne) Trecartin of Hartland, Stephen (Anne) Trecartin of Fredericton, Lorna (Norman) Hachey of Fredericton, Michael (Sandra) Trecartin of Hampton; grandchildren, Rhonda (Ernest) Salmon, Dan (Stacey) Pratt, Marc (Linda Rideout) Trecartin, Annalee (Dwayne) Brewer, Denise (Paul) Brown, Andrew (Melissa) Trecartin, Tammie (Stacey) Hachey-Bell, Lorinda Hachey, Kara (Troy) Nicholson, Matthew (Nicole) Trecartin, Jordan (Erin Sheppard) Trecartin, Tyler (Savannah Hebert) Trecartin; great grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Tori, Christopher, Kira, Tyler, Cameron, Logan, Isabelle, Aiden, Kruz, Michael, Josh, Jake, Allyson, Riley, Avery, Olivia; sister, Hilda Barrett; brother, Frederick "Bob" (Mary) Trecartin; sister-in-law, Noreen Trecartin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th, at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Coldstream Baptist Church on Thursday, December 31st with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating.
