Notes - A fatal accident is reported from Lansdowne (Carleton Co.) wherby Allen L. FOSTER s/o Delancy FOSTER lost his life. It occurred on the first day of the month. The young man was in the act of putting the top log on a load of logs when it slipped and fell, killing him. He was 20 years of age. R.W. Tompkins, Coroner was called; he thought an inquest unnecessary.
