  Obituary: Shirley M. Ebbett 1938-2023 The death of Shirley Marie Ebbett, of Florenceville … Bristol, occurred on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Shirley was born on September 10, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Ray and Verna (Giberson) Derrah. Shirley was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Ray Graydon Ebbett in 2022; 2 brothers, Wendell Derrah (Margaret Ann) and Gary Derrah. Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Brent Ebbett (Gayle), Debbie Ebbett (John) and Kirk Ebbett (Valerie); 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Ebbett (Mitch), Jill Ebbett (Robert), Jarrad Ebbett (Barbie), Lauren Martin (Taylor), Scott McKimm (Whitney) and Oliver Ebbett; 7 great grandchildren, Emma, Brandon, Olivia, Cathryn, Jeneva, Charlotte and Madelyn; 2 brothers, Eugene Derrah (Joanne) and Bob Derrah (Opal); 1 sister in law, Barbara Derrah as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to thank Dr. Clay Marco and also to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Upper River Valley Hospital for the care given to Shirley during her stay there. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 1-3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm with Rev. Oral McAffee officiating. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Bristol Free Will Baptist Church would be appreciated. L.R.
