      MACDONALD, IRMA ALICE (NEE BRIGGS) Suddenly at her home on North River Road, Charlottetown, formerly of Woodstock, NB and Trenton, ON, on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, of Irma Alice MacDonald (nee Briggs), age 78 yrs. Beloved wife of Gerald "Gerry" MacDonald. Survived by her children, David (Lois) Oliver, Scarbourgh, Fred (Ellen) Oliver, Oshawa, Philip (Mary) Oliver, Moncton and Greg (Carol) Oliver, Hammond; stepchildren, Rod (Kim) MacDonald, Peterborough, Jane (Kent) Murray, Summerside and Doug (Jennifer) MacDonald, Charlottetown; grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Andrew, Gabrielle, Patricia, Alex, Patrick, Matthew, Emily, Rachel, Zach, Ben and Nick. Also brothers, Eric (Mary) Briggs, Woodstock and Weldon (Audrey) Briggs, Toronto; sisters, Wanda (John) Winslow, Woodstock and Marion (Allison) MacIntosh, Woodstock. Irma was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Oliver; parents, Fred and Stella (Lindsay) Briggs; brother, Neil; sister-in-law, Alice Briggs. Resting at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford. For visitation, Friday, July 13, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 14 at Spring Park United Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Greg Davis presiding. Interment will be at a later date in Woodstock, N.B. As expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. www.peifuneralcoops.com
