  Obituary: Carvell Lloyd passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Deland, Florida. Carvell was born on May 6, 1931 in Holmesville and was the son of the late Annie (Hathaway) and Abraham Lloyd. and was pre deceased by his wife Nell, sister Genevieve McKnight (Hugh) and his former wife Valerie M. Doucett. Carvell is survived by 4 children, Margaret Ann (Peggy) Huffman (Don), Nancy Shaver (Mike), Jinell Sherry (Tom) and Lee Smith (Pia) and 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his sister, Reverta Wagg (Leslie); his brothers, Hayden Lloyd (Mavis) and Glen Lloyd as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
