    • Obituary:
      We extend our sincere condolences to the family of Lorna Marie (Kinney)Foster of Lower Knoxford, who passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Upper River Valley Hospital after a brief battle with lung cancer, at the age of 68.
      Lorna was born on September 19, 1955, in Bath NB to the late Harold and Marguerite (Rockwell) Kinney and grew up in Long Settlement NB.
      Lorna was a loving wife, mother of two children, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she loved her two precious dogs Bella and Asia who were a big part of her life.
      She was known for walking her dogs, being an amazing cook, and she was talented in many ways she did paintings, making Christmas ornaments, woodworking, she always made sure she made outfits for her dogs from leather to lace, they had outfits for every possible occasion.
      Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends at the camp, wheeling, barbequing, campfires, darts, her dogs. You could always count on her bringing the best gift for Christmas parties… as she usually made it herself. She was known for always thinking of others before herself, donating to Dun-Romin Stray and rescue on a regularly basis, growing vegetables in her garden that produced enough to feed family and friends.
      Lorna made homemade quilts for all her grandchildren.
      Lorna is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Gerald Mansfield Foster, daughter Sawang (Sue) Perkins, son Collin Foster, her dogs , Bella and Asia , Grand daughter Charley (Kyle) Oakes, Alyssa Messer, Jillian Foster, Grand son Cole Perkins and Lou Foster, great grandchildren Alora and Kiara Oakes, Eli and Elsa Perkins, Ava Davidson, brother Darrell ( Linda ) Kinney, Alvin ( Naida) Kinney, Brother in laws: Charles Foster, Rodney Foster (Shelley) and Thomas Broad (Mona) Sister in Laws: Mabel Turcotte, Marsha Kennedy, Brenda Foster, Geraldine Foster, Roberta Sampogna (Tony), Ella Foster, Esther Pearson (Kirk) Lorna was predeceased by: her parents, sister Audrey Bishop , brother Dana Rockwell, Nephews Roger Bishop and Rae Kinney, Mother-in-law Mary Foster Broad, Father-in-law Mansfield Foster, Sister in laws Charoline Hall, April Foster, Brother in laws Patrick Hall, Steven Turcotte, Aderian Foster, Roland Kennedy . As well as several Nieces Nephews and Friends.
      Respecting Lorna’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
      If so desired, donations can be made to the Dun-Romin Stray and Rescue in Lorna’s memory.
