  Obituary; Eva Lois DeMerchant of Piercemont passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Ruth Anna's Ladies Home in Hartland. She was born August 30, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Archibald and Addie Williams. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Graydon DeMerchant; daughter, Susan Ornong; five sisters, Doris, Marjorie, Phyllis, Mavis, and Vivian; four brothers, Sylvester, Ansel, Basil and Floyd. Eva is survived by her children, Judy (Stan) Graham of Somerville, NB, Larry (Deborah) DeMerchant of Burlington, ON, Sandra (John) Timmermans of Chatham, ON, Marty (Marianella) DeMerchant of Edmonton, AB, Kendyl DeMerchant of Edmonton, AB, (Elizabeth), Darryn DeMerchant (Bobbi) of Holmesville, NB; son-in-law, Jourdan Ornong of Colorado; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Christina Stairs, Joyce Kinney, Ted Williams; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16th at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors. 207, Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol from 12 - 2:30 p.m. Due to Covid 19 spacing restrictions there will be a private funeral service following the visitation. A public committal service will be held at approximately 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. at the Wharton Cemetery in Upper Kent.
