She later made Newfoundland her home, quickly becoming “everyone’s Grammy” in the community. Connie was an active member of her church and a familiar presence at her grandchildren’s events, cheering the loudest and loving the hardest. To know her was to love her and maybe fear her just a little.Connie was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Seretha; her siblings Josephine, Mary, Francina, and Melvin; her infant daughter Annette and special niece Nola. She is survived by her children Troy(Sarah) and Wendi (Chris); her grandchildren Liam(Claire), Tess(Matt), Erin(Chris), Nate(Mya), Tristan(Cassidy), Travis(Kayla), and bonus granddaughter Anna(Justin); and her great-grandchildren Elijah, Scottie, and Baby Boy DeMerchant arriving in December as well as special niece and nephew Denise and Danny Breau.A loving sister, she leaves behind sisters Clara Cavanaugh (Ray), Dorothy Foster (Gary), Sharon Templeton, Sheila Alexander (Gary), Alma Allan (Fred), Trudy Rogers (Drake) brothers Paul Kilfoil (Jane) and Douglas Kilfoil (Maureen). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.Connie was the roots of a family tree that continues to grow strong because of her love, resilience, and unwavering support.
