    • Obituary:

      The of death Anna Marie Veronica Kilfoil of Bath occurred on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 21, 1950 in Bath she was the daughter of the late R. Leo and Veronica (Riley) Kilfoil. She was also predeceased by 1 infant brother, Leo.

      Anna Marie practised nursing for most of her life, travelling across the United States from Maine to California, from Arizona to Florida and the Virgin Islands and more. Anna Marie also worked at the Northern Carleton Hospital, Upper River Valley Hospital, and the River View Manor. She brought along her extensive experience, professionalism, commitment to a job well done, quick smile and friendly nature. She once served diligently as Mayor of Bath, narrowly missing a return term this year. She served her community and friends in different ways, at different times, including: Cub Scout leader, dedicated church member, parade and multicultural fair organizer, short-order cook, mentor and inspiration to young nurses, and tireless community supporter.

      She is survived by her son, Mark; 4 siblings, Eileen Kilfoil (Ismail Osman), Bill Kilfoil (Sharon), Timothy Kilfoil (Diana) and Joe Kilfoil (Alma) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family.

      Visitation will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 am from the church. Fr. David Fulton as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery. Donations made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
