  Obituary: The passing of Myrtle Davenport of Gordonsville, NB occurred on August 6, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville at the age of 77. Born in Mineral, NB she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Hathaway) Ruff. Myrtle was survived by her children Kim Evans of Centreville, Susan Giberson (Peter) of Gordonsville, Neisha Davenport (Raymond) of Woodstock, Ricky Davenport (Joan) of Glassville, Terry Davenport of Halifax, Mack Davenport (Darla) of St. George, ON, Darlene Paterson (Darrell) of Greenfield, Ernest Davenport (Pauline) of Holmesville, Mahlon Davenport (Janice) of Centreville and Brian Davenport (Linda) of Bath; 45 grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters Evelyn, Audrey, Marie and Brenda; two brothers Arthur and Don. Predeceased by her parents, husband Clifton Davenport, two brothers Ronald and Alton Ruff. Resting at the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church with visiting hours on Friday August 8th from 7-9 pm and on Saturday August 9th from 1-3 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 9th at 3 pm from the church with Pastor Oral MacAffee officiating, assisted by Pastor Rick Murray. Interment in the Whorton Cemetery, Upper Kent.
