    • Obituary:
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Dickinson on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. She was born July 31, 1935 in Greenfield and was the daughter of the late Reuben and Pauline (Ritchie) Kilpatrick. She was also predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; her granddaughter, Kristi, her brother, Douglas Kilpatrick and her sister-in-law Marg Kilpatrick.
Margaret is survived by her 3 sons, Jeffrey Dickinson (Donna), Stephen Dickinson (Heather) and Kevin Dickinson; 5 grandchildren, Jason Dickinson (Krista), Michelle Dickinson (Jason), Melissa Dickinson (Jed), Brad Dickinson (Laura) and Logan Dickinson (Brandy); 6 great grandchildren, Tayla, Scarlett, Tripp, Gage, Aurora and Lilah as well as a niece, a nephew and extended family.
Margaret had a heart full of joy and showed genuine kindness to everyone she met. She was an active member of the Greenfield Ladies Guild volunteering her time and compassion to her community. She was a beautiful baker and cook, a lover of dancing, music, and singing in the church choir, but her most favourite thing to do was spend time with her ever-growing family. She adored being surrounded by her loved ones, listening and laughing to the stories, seeing them make a lifetime of memories together. She was a woman full of strength, kindness, generosity, joy, and love. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the honour of knowing her.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 1-3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert LeBlanc will officiate. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery. Donations made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group would be appreciated.
