- Obituary:
The death of Linda Ann
Stoddard. took place on May 1
at home in Bristol, after a long
illness.
The funeral was held from
Bubar's Funeral Home Chapel
Wednesday, 2:30 pm; Rev.
Otis Derrah, Pastor of the
Primitive Baptist Church
Bristol Officiated and Rev.
Jack MacKenzie. Pastor of the
Wesleyan Church, Saint John
assisted.
Musical selections sung
were by Jack and Charlene
MacKenzie, Mrs. Roger Estey
and Harold and Daphne
Bubar, Mrs. Charlene
MacKenzie was organist.
Pallbearers were, Harold
Brooks, David Chase,
Raymond Crabbe,
Linwood DeMerchant,
Bob Derrah, and
Dale Giberson.
Burial was in the Bristol
Community Cemetery.
Born Feb. 9, 1949. at Bath.
Linda was the daughter of
Allie and lris (Budrow) Giggie
of Bristol. She was an active
member of the Bristol
Primitive Baptist Church. a
graduate of the last class of
old Bristol High School in 1967
and graduate Woodstock
Vocational School.
She is survived by her
husband, Oren: her parents:
one brother, Paul at home.
one sister. Mrs. Donnie
Kinney (Norma: of Bath; two
nephews. Scott and Mitchell
Kinney; several aunts. uncles
and cousins. A brother Dale
died in 1949.
Floral tributes were
received and donations were
given to the Bristol Primitive
Baptist Church Building
Fund. Gideon Bible Society,
Annie Lockhart Home,
Canadian Cancer Society,
Canadian Heart Foundation,
Centerville Regional Vault,
Florenceville United Church.
