  Obituary: Evelyn Opal Cammack of Holmesville passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born October 10, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude Ruff. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her first husband, Reginald Hitchcock; siblings, Alton Ruff, Ronald Ruff (Patricia), Arthur Ruff, Donald Ruff, Myrtle Davenport (Clifton), Audrey Oakes (Avon); brothers-in-law, John McSheffery and Adrian Foster. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Louis Cammack of Holmesville; sons, Jerry (Pat) Hitchcock of Glassville, Todd (Susan) Hitchcock of Florida, Ryan (Lyanne) Hitchcock of Moncton; grandchildren, Ben Hitchcock, Claire Hitchcock, Brielle Hitchcock, Sandra Zemingui, Angela Zemingui; sisters, Marie McSheffery, Brenda Foster; sisters-in-law, Lawena Ruff, Betty Ruff; nieces and nephews. Evelyn lived a full life and blessed the lives of all who knew her, especially children. She was a volunteer for numerous school programs and a pillar of service in her community. In her later years, she loved spending time with her granddaughters and was always keen to share her recent adventures with them to those she would meet.
