- Obituary:
SHAW, Ora Edward Of Deerville, New Brunswick passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, N.B. on February 1, 1999 at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Orin and Ella (Prosser) Shaw. Mr. Shaw is survived by daughters, Dona Conlague (Eugene) of Fort Fairfield, Maine and Noreen Lunn and special friend Wes Fox of Guelph, Ontario; son Allen Shaw and his wife Gayla of Bradford, Maine; sisters, Arlene Paget of Lakeville, Velzora McClary of Lakeville, and Audrey and George Legere of Oakville; brothers, Clarence and Iva Shaw of Keswick, N.B., Colby and Florence Shaw of London, Ontario and Earl and Rosella Shaw of Lakeville; seven Grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also survived by his special friend Hilda Dunn and her children Lori, Arlene, Susan, Marjorie, Gregg, Lenwood, Jerry, Troy and William. Predeceased by grandson Billy Simpson, sisters Winnifred Doris and Stella and brother James. Resting at the Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Conell Street, Woodstock, N.B. (506- 325-1130) with visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday, February 4, 1999 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Friday, February 5, 1999 at 1 p.m. from the Culberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Sentner officiating. Interment will take place at the Charleston Cemetery in the Spring. Donations to the Diabetes Society of N.B. would be appreciated by the family.
