  Obituary: It is with sadness that the family of David Burlin Crain announce his death which occurred at Hotel Dieu Hospital, in Quebec City. David was born January 8, 1959 in Bath and was the son of the late William and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain. He was also predeceased by his 2 sisters, Shirley and Alta; 6 Brothers, Duncan, Gaylon, Donnie, Earl, Larry and Hilton. David was well known for his sense of humor, and passion to tease anyone who came along. He spent many hours working in the shop, but when someone stopped in, the work ended and out came the cookies and tea. When David wasn't puttering or mingling in the shop, he could be found at the barn tending his horses and cattle. Family meant everything to David and he would light up when someone came to visit - especially his children and grand children. He will be dearly missed. David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his 2 sons, Jorden (Mekayla) and Dee (Caitlyn); 2 grandchildren, Braxton and Kacey; 7 siblings, Charles Crain, Connie Flemming (Bob), Clifford (Eileen), Lauraine Hoyt, Wavel Crain (Dianne), Hugh John Crain (Terri) and Andrea Lint (Roy) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The interment will be held at a later date.
