    • Obituary:
The family of Lois E. McIsaac is sad to announce her death at the Central Carleton Nursing Home (CCNH), Hartland, NB on December 17, 2022. Mum, Gram, GG, and Aunt Lois, had a good 96 years.
Lois was the 3rd of 10 children born to Allan & Florence Boyle of Rusagonis (Gornish), NB. She came into this world on May 5, 1926 in Fredericton. At a relatively young age she came to Florenceville to work where eventually she met William (Billy) McIsaac and they were married in 1950. Together they had four children: Dale, Perry (Darlene), Fred & Maureen (Greg) Crain.
Lois loved kids, but especially her grandkids Gillian (Jerry) Pelkey , Rebeccah (Corey) Sarchfield, Ben (Sandra) McIsaac & Zac (Jenni) McIsaac, Karinn & Mariah Crain and Ainsley MacKinnon; and her great grandkids (Garrett, Kale, Victoria, Brooklyn & William). She had many interests including gardening, bright showy flowers, knitting, crocheting, quilting, & playing crokinole. She was a very good cook and her baking was wonderful (especially her brown bread & her strawberry shortcakes).
A special thank you to Carolyn LaPage ("That Girl") who provided Lois with homecare and loving companionship; to the wonderful staff at CCNH; to her niece Nancy Tweedie for the frequent and great visits; Dr. Marco and to her church community at True North Baptist.
Funeral service will be at True North Baptist Church on the Burnham Road in Florenceville-Bristol, NB at 2 PM on Wednesday December 21, 2022. Rev. Michael Palmer will officiate. At Lois's request, there is no visitation but a reception immediately following the service will be at True North. All are welcome to visit there. The interment will be held at a later date in the Florenceville United community Cemetery. Donations may be made to True North Baptist Church, "We've Got Your Back River Valley" back-pack program or a charity of your choice.
