  Obituary: The death of John Paul Pickard, of Maplehurst, occurred on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Born on December 25, 1955 in Saint John, he was the son of James and Joyce (Rideout) Pickard. Paul is survived by his parents, James and Joyce Pickard; his children, Stacey McGuigan ( Bruce Savage), Rory Pickard (Tara), and Kaitlen Pickard (Tyler Nicholson); 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Cooper, Hudson, and baby Nicholson; his companion, Hope Anderson and her girls, Katie and Laura; Siblings, Elizabeth McCorquindale (Jeff), Jimmy Pickard (Carol), and Rosemary DeMerchant (Raymond Freeman); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Monday, April 16th, 2012 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at 11:00 am from St.John the Evangelist Church in Johnville. Father David Fulton and Father Bill Brennan will officiate. Interment will be in the Johnville cemetery.
