Notes - Obituary:
The death of Mary Emilie Tibbits of Stickney occurred Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 22, 1922 in Bath she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Effie (Lee) DeMerchant. She was also predeceased by her husband Lewis Tibbits and 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Mary is survived by her 3 children, Roy Tibbits, Andy Tibbits and Mary Dawn Tibbits; cousins, Donna Sherwood and Bea Giberson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery, Stickney.
