  Obituary: The death of Darrell Neville Armour of Johnville occurred on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Bristol on August 10, 1953 he was the son of the late Cecil Oakes and Leona DeMerchant. He was also predeceased by his son, Dominique, 6 brothers, Karl, Louis, Howard, Lawrence, Wayne and Paul. Darrell is survived by his wife, Laurie; 9 siblings, Pauline Davenport (Ernie), Maxine Rideout, Alden Armour (Sharon), Doris Smith, Milford Armour, Richard Armour (Ruby), Dean Armour, Claude DeMerchant, Mona Rideout (Archie) and Olive Barker and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenecville-Bristol on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery at a later date.
