  Obituary: It is with sadness that we announce the death of Gary Allen Ruff of Upper Kent which occurred on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 9, 1948 in Bath he was the son of Freda (Anderson) Ruff and the late Rev. John Ruff, Gary was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Carolyn (Gibson) Ruff. Gary is survived by his 4 children, Tammy Crain (Laurie), Krista McMann (Jason), Andrew Ruff (Tracy) and Megan; his mother, Freda; 7 grandchildren, Eric Crain (Lane), Logan McMann (Dani), Mark Crain (Darcy), Morgan McMann, Kelsi Ruff, Luke Ruff (Cassie) and Emma Ruff; 3 great grandchildren, Rowan, Landon and Caroline; 2 brothers, Johnnie Ruff (Mary) and Calvin Ruff (Sonia) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dan Ryan will officiate. The interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.
