    • Obituary:

      Ernest J. Ogden, 76, died May 5, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1928, in New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Frank and Cassie Ogden. He graduated from Emmanuel Bible School in 1949 and was a Korean War veteran. He was a licensed Minister with the United Pentecostal Church International for 41 years. He was the founder and pastor of the UPC Church in Caribou for 11 years and Pastor of the UPC Church of Old Town, Pea Cove for 11 years. He was a motor coach driver for Cyr Bus Lines in Old Town.

      He is survived by his wife, Ronella, of 53 years, of Old Town; three sons, Byron of Bangor, Darrell and his wife, Beth, of Winterport, Vance and his wife, Sara, of Orono; one daughter, Rhonda and her husband, Roger, of Bangor; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Gladys and Miriam. He was predeceased by one sister, Kathryn; three brothers, Thomas, Benjamin and Eugene.
      Interment will follow in the Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. (Bangor Daily News 5/6/2005)
