  Obituary: The death of David "Joe" Austin Tompkins of Stickney occurred on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Joe was born May 1, 1950 in West Glassville and was the son of the late Ernest and Norma (Laing) Tompkins. He was also predeceased by his wife, Marylou. Joe is survived by his 4 children Marlene Tompkins (Chris), Billy Tompkins (Tiffany), Jackie Tompkins (Robert) and Shannon Tompkins; 6 grandchildren, April, Lucas, Jarred, Austin, Abigail and Lance; 2 siblings, Peter Tompkins (Virginia) and Sherry Martin (Rome) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family . Respecting Joe's wishes a family graveside service will be held. For those who wish donations made to the River Valley cancer Support Group would be appreciated. L.R.
