  Obituary: CLARK (PATRICK), GLORIA LAURA - 77, Nine Mile River, NS. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria peacefully at home on August 8, 2002. Born in Benton, NB, she was the daughter of the late, Thomas and Juanita (Mills) Patrick. Gloria grew up in Benton, Juniper and Woodstock, NB. For a time, Gloria worked as a hairdresser in Woodstock, NB. Then along with her husband Gerald, she owned and operated Clarks Cleaners Ltd., in Woodstock, NB, and since the early 1970’s in Halifax, NS. Warm, generous, kind and witty, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by sisters, Marjorie Knapp, Riverview, NB; Hilda Avery, Scarborough, ON; Gretchen Welteroth, Williamsport, PA; brothers, Leland Patrick, Nine Mile River, NS; Carl Patrick, Newmarket, ON; ten nieces and nephews; thirteen grand nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, George Gerald Clark; brother, Frank Patrick; sister, Annie Augusta Patrick. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 10 AM, memorial celebration 11 AM, Friday, August 16, 2002 all at the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Rev. Betty Darby officiating. No flowers.
