- Obituary:
The death of Constance "Connie" Marie Banks of Florenceville-Bristol occurred on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born December 22, 1933 in Bath, NB she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Dugan) Crain. She was also predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Banks; 1 son Allen John Banks; 3 brothers Joseph, Edmund, and Clement as well as a chosen brother Jimmy Dugan; 7 sisters Mary Catherine, Dorothy, Margaret, Kay, Miriam, Mary, Anita and a special sister in law Kaye Banks.
Connie is survived by her 2 children; Alden Banks, and Beverley Shaw (Kent), 1 granddaughter Kendra Shaw; 1 sister Eleanor Kane (Joe); 1 brother Thomas Crain as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 17, 2017 at 11:30 am from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery at a later date.
