Notes - Edwin Guthrie Fort Fairfield 74. Died 5-20-1973 in a Fort Fairfield hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Glassville, NB., Canada 9-27-1898 the son of George and Lydia (Bannister) Guthrie. He was a resident of Fort Fairfield and a veteran of the Canadian Army of WWI. He is survived by 2 sons, William of Oassadumkeag and Norman of Limestone, 4 stepsons, Robert Hallett of Enfield, Alfred Hallett of St. John, NB., Canada, Lewis Young of Springfield, MA., Earl Young of Limestone, 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Stella Burtchell of Groton, MA. and Miss Dorothy Young of Limestone, a brother, Robert Guthrie of Glassville, NB., Canada, 3 sisters, Mrs. Lydia Lee and Miss Lottie Guthrie, both of Glassville, NB., Canada, Mrs. Doris Bigger of Bath, NB., Canada, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
