  Obituary: It is with sadness that the family of Kaye Briggs announces her passing. The death of Lillian Kathleen "Kaye" Briggs of Wicklow occurred on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover, NB. Born April 16, 1932 in Glassville she was the daughter of the late Alexander "Sandy" and Gertrude (Anderson) Quinn. Kaye was also predeceased by her husband, Hugh John; grandson, Andrew; sisters Olive Branscombe, Jennie MacKenzie, Nellie Bulmer, Ernestine Prosser, Jeannie Lawler, Marion Kranz and Darlene "Bunny" Henderson; brothers, John, Peter, Lloyd, and Larry "Dick". Kaye is survived by her 4 children, Robert Briggs (Sabine), Rhonda Briggs (Gary), David Briggs (Fay) and Sandy Briggs (Craig); 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Robert "Bobby", Angela and William "Billy"; 5 great grandchildren, Logan, Makayla, Andrew, Caitlyn and Kaden; 2 brothers, Allison Quinn (Claudia) and Wayne "Buck" Quinn (Ida) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2-3 pm. Respecting COVID-19 regulations face masks must be worn. A private funeral service will be held from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. For those who wish the funeral service will be Live streamed on the L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors Facebook Page on Sunday at 3:30 pm. Rev. Dan Smith will officiate. The interment will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
