  Obituary: The death of Peter John Brooks of Centreville and formerly of Juniper occurred on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 6, 1927 he was the son the late William and Mildred (Shaw) Brooks. He was also predeceased by brother Harold, sister-in-law Phyllis, nephew David, son Keith, daughter-in-law Carolyn Brooks. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Hazel (MacDougall) Brooks, son Harold (Linda), 2 daughters, Nancy (Theo) and Krista (Bob), daughter-in-law Nicola; 13 grandchildren, Kendall, Jonathan (Lisa), Cynthia (Craig), Mark, Danny, Kellie (Marc), Jeremy (Stacy), Jennifer Brooks, Renna (Shayne), Yani (Andrea), Renee (Greg), Danica (Matt), Chantelle (Jake); special friend Douglas Bujr; 23 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren, 1 brother, Paul (Shirley), 2 sisters Edna and Orpha, sister-in-law Opal Derrah, many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Brunham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB with visitation on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors Chapel. Rev. Dale Shaw, Rev. Carroll Carter and Rev. Paul Brooks will officiate. Interment in the Biggar Ridge Cemetery.
