  Obituary: The passing of Richard Malcolm Guthrie of Gordonsville occurred on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville with loved ones close. Richard was born, February 28, 1949 in Woodstock and was the son of the late Claude and Sadie (Boyd) Guthrie. He was also predeceased by his wife Nancy; 1 son, Christopher; 1 sister, Susan Dore; 1 brother, Stephen and 1 infant brother. Richard is survived by his 4 children, Jackie Guthrie, Thomy Guthrie (Julie), Joni Mean (Jeremy) and Clinton Guthrie (Jamie); 11 grandchildren, Abby, Kassy, Dante, Khloi, Halli, Emma, Maddi, Sophia, Aria, Owen and Lauren; 1 great granddaughter, Emma; 7 siblings Brian Guthrie (Janet), Karen Steeves, Kim Hovey (Norman), Graham Guthrie, Nancy Guthrie, Cindy Corey and Randy Guthrie as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the chapel. Rev. Andrew DeRier will officiate. The interment will be in the Glassville Anglican Cemetery.
