    • Obituary:
      The death of James Frederick Hoyt of Florenceville-Bristol and formerly of Biggar Ridge, NB occurred on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Jim was born in Biggar Ridge on March 12, 1926 to the late Samuel and Dora (Huggard) Hoyt, the youngest of 10 children.
      Jim is survived by his wife of 71 years, Irene and his son Gary (Roberta) of Gordonsville, NB; three grandchildren, Terri Dixon (Gordon) of Stillwater, NS, Kevin Hoyt (Robyn Wiley-Hoyt) of Glassville, NB, Jennifer Veinot (Scott) of Stillwater Lake, NS; three great grandchildren, Phillip Dixon of Summerside, PEI, Nicholas and Claire Veinot of Stillwwater Lake, NS and several nieces and nephews.
      Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by five brothers, Frank, Walter, Clarence, Roy and Basil; four sisters, Juanita, Myrtle, Della and Beulah.
      Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 12- 2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert LeBlanc will officiate. Active pallbearers will be, Gordon Dixon, Phillip Dixon, Scott Veinot, Andrew Spence, Darrell Henly and Sheldon Dickinson. Interment will be in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to Christ Church Cemetery or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
