  Obituary: Shirley M. Ward 1948-2009 The death of Shirley Myrna Ward, of Glassville, occurred on December 22, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Born on May 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Woodford & Olga (Goodine) Miller and the wife of Ernest Ward. Shirley is survived by her husband, Ernest Ward; 2 daughters, Estella Ward (Ron Johnston) and Nancy Ward (Kelly MacArthur); grandchildren, Trish and Peter Johnston, Lee, Cody, and Chelsie MacArthur, brothers, Eugene Cormier, Mark Miller, Calvin Miller and James Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, one son, Cecil, and 2 brothers, Francis and Sheldon Cormier. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Austin officiating. Interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery at a later date.
