  • Notes
    • Margaret Spence married Alexander Walker in 1867. He was an original
settler and lived on Lot 55, just a few farms north. Alexander Walker was a
founding member of the Agricultural Society and a Justice of the Peace, but
died in 1881. There were no children. Margaret Walker probably left the settle
ment to find work to support herself. In any event, she remarried and lived near
      Houlton, Maine.
