It is with broken hearts that the family of Albert Claude Doherty of Centreville and formerly of Knowlesville, the loving husband of Vera Doherty and devoted dad of Pam and Kelly announce his passing on Friday, August 7, 2020 peacefully at home with his girls by his side.
Born in Bath, NB on Friday, January 23, 1948 he was the son of the late Albert and Kathleen Doherty. He was also pre-deceased by his grandson Bryson Drake, sister Shirley Morris, and brother in law Eldon Manuel.
Claude is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Vera and his daughters Pam (Leigh) McIsaac and Kelly Drake. Dear Grandfather of Kelsey (Josh) Watling, Skene McIsaac, Lane McIsaac (Eric Crain) Marcus Drake and great grandchildren Karley Watling and Rowan Crain. One sister, Peggy Manuel, brother Clarence Doherty as well as many nieces, nephews, brothers and sister in law who thought very highly of him.
Claude was an outdoor's man at heart who loved to fish and hunt. He had a devoted work ethic and was a kind soul with a soft heart, and a quiet strength who showed patience and gave sound advice. He was the best husband and father and he will be dearly missed.
