  Obituary: BLAINE-July 6- George W. Corey, 74, died Monday in a Houlton hospital after a long illness. He was born in Blaine, July 11, 1884 the son of John and Charlotte (Prosser) Corey. He was a resident of Blaine all his life. Surviving are his widow Mabel W. (Foster) Corey. Two sons, Warren of Blaine and John of Presque Isle. A daughter, Mrs. Fred Clark of Woodstock, NB. Two stepsons, Carvell Tompkins of Woodstock, NB and Alton Tompkins of Washington, DC. Two brothers, Julius Corey of Houlton and Nason Corey of Fairfield. Four sisters, Mrs. Iva Rees of Blaine, Mrs. Clarence Faulkner of Mars Hill, Mrs. Patrick Garant and Mrs. James George of Waterville. 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Interment will be at East Blaine Cemetery.
