    • Obituary
      The passing of Hilton Robert Mean, of Lower Brighton, NB, occurred on Thursday December 16, 2010 at his residence. Hilton was born at Hartland, NB on November 14, 1920 to the late Horace and Mabel (Shaw) Mean. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Boyer) Mean; a daughter, Laurie Garagon of Fredericton, NB; a son David (Cindy) of Hartland NB; grandchildren, Morgan (Alesha), Kristen (Nathan McLean), Jordon (Sarah), Courtney and Connor Garagon; five great-grandchildren; a sister Marjorie Kraftcheck; brother John Mean; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Hilton was predeceased by a brother Horace and a sister Anna. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd., where friends may call, on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 1-3 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm with Rev Mark Carter officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland NB. Expressions of Sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Souls Harbor. www.carletonfuneralhome.ca
