- Obituary:
The death of Marion Louise Oakes of Piercemont occurred on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 13, 1950 in Bath, New Brunswick she was the daughter of Barbara (Drost) Boyle and the late Reid Boyle.
Marion is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Sam; 2 children Chris Oakes (Bliss) and Annette Inman; 1 grandson, Graydon Oakes; her mother, Barbara; 5 siblings, Margaret Frenette, Dale Boyle (Marion), Robert Boyle, Cheryl Hebig (Neil) and Stephen Boyle (Brenda) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday December 7, 2018 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Oral McAffee will officiate. The interment will be held in the Mineral Cemetery at a later date.
