    • Obituary:

      GIBERSON, MARY ELIZABETH Age 107, passed away peacefully January 11, 2014 at the Legacy Assisted Living Center. She was born in Green Oak Township, Livingston County, Michigan February 15, 1906 to the late William H. and Jennie C.B. Spicer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank I. Giberson, four brothers, Raymond K., Howard B., Clifford Henry and William Clayton Spicer and her sister Jessie Spicer. She married Frank Isaiah Giberson in September of 1924. They had one child, Hazel May Morgan of Brooklyn, MI who survives along with three grandchildren, Judy (Tony) Ridle of Arkansas, Jane (Richard) Miller of Michigan and Bonnie (Tim) Kouskouris of Arizona, seven great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crosswords, knitting and sewing and led an active and full life. Services will be held at the Michigan Center Bible Church Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Tovey officiating. Private interment will follow at Oakland Hills Memorial Park in Novi, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at Legacy for the wonderful care they gave Mary.
