DINGEE, GERALDINE CONROD - At the Queen Elizabeth II, Halifax on February 12, 2003, Geraldine Conrod Dingee of 117 Church St. Bath, NB E7J 1A5, passed away peacefully at the age of 81. Born in Greenfield, NB, she was the only child of Charles and Jennie (Kilpatrick) Caldwell. Geraldine was a registered nurse at Bath Hospitals. Very active in her community, she was past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #7, member of the Daughters of the Nile, Saint John, Bath UCW, lifetime elder of Faith Memorial United Church and volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and Red Cross. Geraldine is survived by husband Arthur, daughter Brenda (Charles) Denny of Woodstock, sons, Gary (Bunny) of Glassville, Garth (Melanie) of Tobique Narrows, Brain (Barbara) of Centreville, Graydon (Sam) of Carlow, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son Brent Arthur and grandson Craig Wayne Dingee. Visitation to be held at Faith Memorial United Church Florenceville, on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services to be held Saturday at 1 PM from the Church, Rev. Les Johnston to officiate. Interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Upper Saint John Valley Shrine Club-Transportation Fund, Faith Memorial Building Fund or the Martin Kilfoil Fund. There will be an Eastern Star Service Thursday Evening at 6:45 PM from the church. Kilcollins Funeral Home Bath (278-3238) in care of the arrangements.
