    • Obituary:

      Larry Carl Dyer, of Woodstock, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. He was born July 28, 1941 and was the son of the late James and Glenna (Culberson) Dyer. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis and brothers, Don, James and Brian.

      Larry attended school in Armond, finishing grade eight. He worked on the railroad, in the woods, and for Keenans planting potatoes and grains and driving the tractors. He also worked in PEI for a short time. He liked to listen to fiddle playing and to watch TV. He enjoyed step dancing very much.

      Larry is survived by the mother of his children, Judy MacDougall from Grafton; three children, Bonnie (Robert) Lawson of Jacksonville, Larry (Angela) Dyer of Jacksonville, Murray Dyer of Saint George; grandchildren, Rebecca Lawson, Jeremy (Nobalee Morehouse) Lawson, Justin (Katherine Fox) Lawson, Ashley (Kyle Watson) Dyer, Lindsey Dyer, Tyler Dyer, Rachel Dyer, Reese Dyer; great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Colton, Ryan, Aiden, Elaina, Harlee and Logan; sister Susan (Blair) Shaw of Esdraelon; brother, Bob (Yvonne) Dyer, Florida.

      Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Saturday, September 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be on Sunday, September 11th at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland. Interment will follow in the Armond Cemetery. If so desired donations can be made to the Armond Cemetery. www.brittonfh.ca
